One of my favourite US shows on television at the moment is The Unit, starring Dennis Haysbert of 24 fame. The Unit is partly centred around a crack commando unit and their various missions at home and abroad, but also around the lives of their wives and loved ones, left at home on the army base. It is a great twist on the usual action series and probably explains why the show is popular amongst men and women alike.
The Unit, currently halfway through its 4th season in the States, starts up again on Virgin 1 on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at 10pm. If you haven’t checked it out yet, I highly recommend giving it a go and who better to tell you more about the show that the main man himself, Dennis Haysbert:
